What do I need to start kart racing?Ok, first things first! You will need your own kart. You will also need a race suit, race boots, race gloves and a good quality helmet (british standard or equivalent). Bambinos and cadets require a neck brace and rib protector. This is optional for classes above this but is recommended. You should always have a clear helmet visor available.
